Words cannot express what I am thinking right now, but the pictures speak for themselves.

I know this woman loves to sing and dance and have fun...but in the rain?

Yesterday I had plans to take their family out to the park for some outdoor shots, but during the indoor portion of the session, the weather became crazy. Thunder, lightning, and heavy rain that quickly flooded the street.
We were standing in the doorway watching, and Mrs H says "Do you dare me to go out there?" and silly me said "Yes, I dare you to go out there."

So she did. And I went out there and took pictures of it.

Thankfully she wasn't struck by lightning - I don't think her husband would have been pleased with me.

Thank you for a fun session that I will never forget!

Beautiful family!

This weekend we had rain! It was definitely welcomed here at our house. The only downside was that one of my sessions had to be canceled. So we rescheduled for the next day and it was so worth it. It was nice to meet everyone, and all the adults were so good about holding their smile while I tried to get the babies to look at the camera!

Fun at the Park!

We've been spending a lot of time preparing for the EXPO (Friday is full by the way, and Saturday has a few afternoon spots left) so today we spent the day at the park with friends and having a little fun in front of the camera. My two little ones were kind of glad to get back in front of the camera - which always makes me happy!



These were some of my favorite shots - usually I try to only choose one of the same pose, but I couldn't help myself this time.

Exciting news!!!

I wasn't going to post it until all the details were finalized, but now they have been and so I get to announce it!!!

Nancarrow Photography is attending the annual CHN EXPO this year in Ontario, California. We will be doing family portraits and school pictures on the third floor.
My husband and I are very excited to be participating, and so the EXPO-only pricing for this event is incredible!!! It's amazing, there is already a lot of buzz going on!

And what is really cool, is that we will be doing graduates for FREE and they will get a FREE print as our congratulations to them! We are so proud of you!!!

So register for the EXPO today and we will see you in August! Even if you don't book an appointment, still make sure to stop by and say hi!

This is the other half of my dancer session - we were on-location for portraits of her and her older brother. They were both so good for me! The sun was already starting to get a little harsh, but there were plenty of good shady spots for us to take pictures in.

Fun Family

Today I had an outdoor session with this family - they were so much fun! They were open to all suggestions, and very comfortable in front of the camera. There was a lot of jumping and dancing going on (and that was just me!) in order to get this little guy to smile. We were ready to call it quits and I took off my trademark sunglasses. Voila - he instantly brightened up and we took some more shots!
