So close to Thanksgiving!

I can't believe I haven't updated the blog in so long!
Things have been busy on the photography level... I had a wedding, several families and a large group of kids to take portraits of. So needless to say, I have a ton of work to do, and not as much time to browse the computer.
This week, I will post a featured session. Once those are all finished I will go back to posting sneak peeks of current sessions that haven't gone through their ordering appointments yet.

A special note before I get started - it looks like we may be jetting off to Florida for a pre-Christmas vacation. So the last day to order in person would be the 11th, without a rush delivery fee. Re-Orders and additions can be emailed to me, and I will put them in on the 15th. anything after that will require a rush fee (to cover the shipping fees that the lab charges) and the final day for rush orders is the 20th.

So today we are going to feature three siblings, two boy and a girl. They are really cute - check them out:







Time is running out for holiday sessions...there will be a few events coming up that you can come to and do a quick portrait. More information on that will be made available as soon as I get it.
Mini-sessions are also available - they are $20 for a 30-minute session and include 2 clothing changes (if time allows). Mini sessions are in-studio only, so if you are interested, drop me a line!

Three sisters!

Like I mentioned yesterday, these girls have a ton of energy! I don't know how Mommy does it!

This set was broken up into two sessions, the first visit was to capture a family portrait, and the second visit we did some shots of the girls with Grandma!

One of the things that comes with the job as a photographer is the potential hazards that I face with each session. I picked up the baby near the end and she shared what she had for lunch for me.
Thankfully as the mother of 3 kids, that kind of thing was not new to me, so I wiped off what I could and finished shooting. Thanks for the present, sweetie!

Another first Birthday!

This little guy is so tough! He is always running around every time I see him.





But thankfully for this session, he stayed still and gave me a winning smile.

Fall Outdoor session....

We have been having a busy week here at Nancarrow Photography!

We did a fantastic session with a brother and sister at Mojave Narrows. The lighting was nice, the smiles were good, and everything seemed to work perfectly!

Inspiring...

This is one of my teammates, and my friend.

Her story makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

She used to weigh a lot. And by a lot, I have seen the before pictures and I don't even recognize her. I didn't know her in the "before" time.
However, over the past two years I have seen her evolve and the picture above is about 3 days old, and the most current.
She decided one day she didn't want to be heavy anymore and so the transformation began. She accredits her fantastic weight loss to Weight Watchers, diet and exercise, and even though she won't say it.... she has discipline.
She looks fantastic. I am so proud of her, and I hope she inspires someone to take control and just start getting active. She plays softball 3 times a week and I think she does the gym 3 times a week as well.

Congrats! you look GREAT!

Feeling Refreshed....

I am back from vacation and I just spent the last week or so catching up with clients and friends who did not know I was "off" for a while!

Anyhow, I had two sessions this week and I am ready for the holiday season!

So I have two specials to choose from:

#1- The Superior Package $150 (regularly $184)

1 hour session
5 Mix and Match sheets
24 Custom Premium Paper Folded Greeting Cards

Price includes the $40 session fee, and the entire amount is due when booking your session.

#2- The Elite Package $200 (regularly $240)

This isn't so much a package, as it is a special offer. Book your session before October 31st, and when you spend over $200 in prints and other products, your session fee will be credited to the amount due. The session fee is due at the time of your booking, and any credits will be applied at the ordering session.

So I hope everyone has a great weekend! I am taking the weekend off due to preparation to an upcoming wedding that I am shooting and several weekday sessions.

A wedding....

A little while ago, I was asked to photograph a wedding that was a quick, spur of the moment kind of thing.
It was one of the cutest weddings I had ever shot.

The bride and groom were so photogenic!






Weddings always remind me of the promise of love and a wonderful future...

Tomorrow I am officially on vacation! I will still have my phone with me, and will reply to emails in the evening when I get back to my hotel.
