Pageants!

Miss J came on Sunday to have some photos done for her upcoming Miss Barstow pageant. She was a great model and took direction very well!
This is one of my favorites out of the series. I absolutely love the dress and I think the backdrop compliments it perfectly! I think it has a classic feel to it and probably would look great in black and white.
Good luck at the pageant and I hope you win something!

I just finished this session, I just need to prep the files for the viewing appointment. What a cutie, huh?

Smiling Baby!

Yesterday little Ryland came in to visit! We had such a great time and his session went sooo smoothly! He is such a happy baby and willing to smile for the camera.

I am in the middle of proofing his session and I am loving all of the shots!


Tomorrow I have a little beauty queen coming in, so check back for those!

February is coming to a close, and I only have one date left for sessions. Book a 1/2 hour session on February 28th in the morning, and get the session and 10 sheets for $100. That is an incredible deal!

I officially have a teenager!
I am not so old that I don't remember borrowing my mom's clothes, or trying to be sneaking and put on some makeup on the way to school...

It wasn't so long ago that I would go to my in-laws' house and one of the first things my mother in law would do is give Courtney a biter biscuit, let her get filthy and then proceed to give her a bath in the kitchen sink!

I love looking through all the photographs over the years and watching my baby grow up. Photos tell the story and fill in the gaps where my memory has faded...

I also noticed that my father in law had brown hair at one time, too...lol.

Today's party reminded me of what it was like 12 years ago, on my own daughter's 1st birthday (who will be turning 13 on Sunday). My daughter didn't have any teeth, but that didn't stop her from munching on her cake!

Happy Birthday, sweetie! I'm so happy to be able to have seen you grow so quickly over the past year!
And sorry, Mom - it's all uphill from here! :P

Nancarrow Photography is officially signed up for this years CHN EXPO! CHN stands for California Homeschooling Network!
We will be doing school portraits on site, and family portraits as well! So be sure to sign up, and come say hi to Tim and I while you are there!

And a special bonus- I will be doing a class for teens on Saturday on creative composition! I am so excited to teach this class!

On the business front, today I delivered my last boudoir album in time for Valentines' Day.
Now it is time to focus on my kid sessions, and of course the upcoming birthday bash in honor of my 13 year old daughter. My, they grow so fast!

Already February!

This is my oldest daughter - she will be 13 in a few weeks. She is excited, there have been so many changes for her in the past year. I think going from 12 to 13 is such a big jump! She is now a TEEN!
Anyway, it was nice to take her outside in a pretty dress and get some shots of her.
The last half of January I was busy with Intimate Sessions. Those aren't the kind of sessions that you put "sneak peeks" of on the blog! I did work with some really nice women, and their husbands are going to be pleasantly surprised come Valentines' Day! *wink*
