Another Business Portrait....

Business portraits are fun... its usually people who haven't had their picture taken in a while and they are always nervous. But I have a way of getting them to relax and smile and give a great first impression to their clients. They are super quick and inexpensive, there is no reason NOT to update your headshot too!
I am in need of a headshot, but I just need to find the time to get it done, lol!

Its Softball Time!

What a great day today was! The sun was shining, no wind, and it was warm!
I finally was able to shoot one of my oldest daughter's games. Usually the older kids get the late night games, which makes for bad pictures since I cannot use flash.
So today I took the opportunity to get some shots....

This one isn't of my daughter, but the play at home was awesome!

She is having fun...

Her current position is catcher... its a tough spot.

Business Portrait

What a busy week! I hope everyone had a good Tax Day!

we had lots of softball this week, so I haven't been home much. And we did a field trip to the movie theater in Apple Valley. The kids got to see where the movies are played and we watched "How To Train Your Dragon" in 3D. Very cool - but not cool if you wear glasses (like me) or get motion sickness (again, like me). Very cute movie overall.

Well, yesterday I did a business portrait for Roy. He is starting at a new employer and needed something for his new business cards...







Business portraits are a small investment that that give a big return. Clients like to put a name to a face, and feel like they are dealing with a competent professional.

My Baseball player..

Yes, I cannot get enough of watching my son play baseball! So far I have made it to more games than I thought I would!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that he starts to enjoy the season more, so that I can spend another season watching him play!

Modeling part II

This is the other half of my little modeling session. This is the younger sister, she is two. Lots of fun, but she definitely knows what she wants and doesn't want!

Modeling

I love to have aspiring models come into the studio... I love the clothing changes and usually they are up for any kind of fun shots.
This little girl is 3, and she is quickly learning how to work it in front of the camera. She will be on the runway in no time! You should see some of these expressions! I couldn't post them all, but here a a few of my faves...



The pettiskirts are always a ton of fun and go over really well with the little girls!

I had a fun and very *haut* boudoir session this morning, some guy is going to be super lucky! Nothing on that to share, so I will have to find something fun and springlike to post up.

Happy Easter!

Man I am tired! I didn't hunt for eggs, or cook, or do much of anything except enjoy the day with my family. But it sure wiped me out!

I had my daughter sit for me while I tried out new lighting. She always asks - "Why me?" and I tell her because she is beautiful and special and is able to take direction well, so that makes her the perfect model.

Its not all bad - I take 10 minutes of her time and in return she gets a photo that she can text to all of her friends.

Tomorrow I have two little aspiring models coming in to my studio. I hope to get some of those images posted tomorrow afternoon before my son's game.
Its another busy week - this week starts our life o' baseball and softball every single day of the week...the cool part is that my husband has an early game in the latter part of the week so I can get some shots of him!
