A wedding....

A little while ago, I was asked to photograph a wedding that was a quick, spur of the moment kind of thing.
It was one of the cutest weddings I had ever shot.

The bride and groom were so photogenic!

Weddings always remind me of the promise of love and a wonderful future...

Congrats, Morgan and William!

Tomorrow I am officially on vacation! I will still have my phone with me, and will reply to emails in the evening when I get back to my hotel.
Hopefully I will get to blog a little too!

Horses!

Are you all ready for some more sessions?
Yes, me too...but when I come BACK from vacation. Today I finished up pretty much everything. Tomorrow the last batch of CHN photos will go out, and the only thing left will be orders that need to be delivered or picked up by clients.

Today's feature is my friend, her husband and their horses

The bad part in this photo is the smoke you can see from the LA fires:

She scared me (and made her husband a little nervous!) But she is an accomplished rider and she was fine.

This horse is gorgeous:

Once I get back from vacation next week, I will begin booking holiday sessions for October and November. Don't wait too long to book yours! I will have a nice Holiday special to share!

Sweet Couple

Today's feature is a sweet couple who radiate love. I went to their home to photograph them and they are so comfortable with each other and made be comfortable too.
I wish them many more years of love, and I hope they know that their family loves them very much too!

Beautiful Dancer

So today's feature is a dancer....Mom and I were able to get our schedules together and do the studio portion of her portaits one day, and then outdoor portraits are still to come.

I have photographed this little girl for a couple of years now, and when I see the ballet costume pictures, I cannot get over how much she has grown. Dad had better get the shotgun ready!

Part 2 of the session has yet to be completed. We are waiting for cleaner air to come our way since its outdoors.

A crazy couple of weeks....

Its been very chaotic at the studio the past week, and so I haven't been paying too much attention to my blog...
Most of my clients are well aware of the fires that have been burning through Southern California where I am located, and we have family that lives near those areas. So I had to put aside a lot of sessions so that I can focus on my family and making sure they are safe.

But I am catching up and so now I have some time to share some sessions with everyone!

Once again, these are out of order. Some will be features because the client has already seen or ordered their portraits, and others will be sneak peeks because we just haven't had our ordering session together yet.

Today's feature is first year portraits of Miss Peyton. You see her and her siblings on my blog a lot because Mom is one of my best clients and keeps me busy with lots of work! Thanks Shannon for having so many kids!

The birthday cake shots were my favorites - especially this one:

And I really loved that little chair with her name on it. I wonder if her grandma would paint one for me too....

Anyhow, enjoy today's post and tomorrow I will have a little dancer to show off!
