Newborn!

This weekend I was lucky that my client was able to bring her newborn baby girl in to the studio...our schedules had been a little hard to coordinate!
But I am glad they came, and now Elizabeth will soon have some great shots to share with her friends and family...

I love baby feet!


Right here she looks SO much like her mommy - dimples and all!


She is probably thinking right here...


And like most newborns, she fell asleep in the middle of the session...

a BIG family...

Every so often, I get a really large family that wants to have several generations photographed, with multiple group shots included.
This weekend I had one such session, put together by my friend and one of my favorite clients, Shannon.

They are one of my favorite types of sessions, simply because we are able to relax, laugh and do things that most chain studios would not let you get away with....





The dog was all smiles, once he calmed down. Then when he did his job, he wanted to thank everyone for letting him have his picture taken...

3 month old girl!

Sorry about the lack of updating the blog... for some reason everytime I tried to post the sessions, it wouldn't update the actual blog.
So we will spend the next couple of days playing catch-up...

Today's post features a cute 3 month old baby girl! She was a little picky with me at first, but by the end of the session she was cooing and talking back to me.
The tea cup shot is one of my absolute favorites, sorry mom there are going to be a ton of those to choose from!

family session!

Yesterday I met a wonderful family! This portrait session is for Mom's birthday, so yesterday we headed out to Mojave Narrows in Victorville for a nice outdoor session.

It was a little warmer than I really prefer for outdoor sessions, but the family did a great job and no one was profusely sweating that I noticed :)

This family is one of my favorites! Such beauty and personality, and every time I see them it is an enjoyable experience...





Mom and Dad, you are going to have to lock these girls up when they get older! They are beautiful just like Mommy!

Dance Photos!

The sessions I am posting are a little out of order...but please bear with me!

As I have mentioned before, I LOVE dancers! The costumes are always so creative as well as beautiful.
This young lady went through 3 costumes while she was here and I can only imagine what its like on recital day, having to change backstage so many times!

We have been very busy here at the studio - and we are coming off an excellent weekend at the CHN Expo. Once again, we met so many wonderful families, and reconnected with some favorites from last year.
