Exciting news!!!

I wasn't going to post it until all the details were finalized, but now they have been and so I get to announce it!!!

Nancarrow Photography is attending the annual CHN EXPO this year in Ontario, California. We will be doing family portraits and school pictures on the third floor.
My husband and I are very excited to be participating, and so the EXPO-only pricing for this event is incredible!!! It's amazing, there is already a lot of buzz going on!

And what is really cool, is that we will be doing graduates for FREE and they will get a FREE print as our congratulations to them! We are so proud of you!!!

This is the other half of my dancer session - we were on-location for portraits of her and her older brother. They were both so good for me! The sun was already starting to get a little harsh, but there were plenty of good shady spots for us to take pictures in.

Fun Family

Today I had an outdoor session with this family - they were so much fun! They were open to all suggestions, and very comfortable in front of the camera. There was a lot of jumping and dancing going on (and that was just me!) in order to get this little guy to smile. We were ready to call it quits and I took off my trademark sunglasses. Voila - he instantly brightened up and we took some more shots!

Pretty eyes!

Last week the pretty dancer came in to have her dance portraits done. She is such a sweetheart and the perfect model because she poses however I ask her to! I can't believe how cute the costumes are that these girls get to wear! I am partial to this one because yellow is my favorite color. The brighter, the better!
I am almost finished processing this session, but I thought I would take a break and show off her eyes in this one. They are so beautiful, and the makeup is subtle, yet enhances the eyes perfectly. Way to go Mom, the makeup artist!
This session was Part 1 - next we are doing an on location session. I am so excited!

I also wanted to again mention the new Baby Plan - I posted about it on the blog and on some local forums, and so far the response is positive. If you know someone who loves to take their little one in to have pictures done several times a year, tell them to check out the new Baby Plan and see if it works for them! I'm probably go to talk about it alot - I am really looking forward to adding this to my list of services!

I'm back!

Last week I was put on a very unexpected vacation. The power went out in my town and I experienced a failure with my computer and processing programs. All client files were backed up, so no worries there.
Anyhow, everything is back up and running on an alternate system so I am busy catching up on all the sessions that occurred in that time.


So last week I did a session with an adorable baby girl. She is three months old, so she is at that stage where she is very alert and aware of her body and her surroundings. She was interested in all the people and the equipment that I brought. We try to pose her sitting up, but that didn't work. Maybe Mom will let me try again in a couple more months. Near the end of the session she fell asleep, and we were able to get some precious shots in.
